Hello
My name is Taryn Ouma of Sufficient Grace Counseling and I am a therapist. I specialize in helping people create healthy relationships with themselves and with others. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I’ve had the honor of working with a diverse group of people with an array of struggles including: trauma, divorce, domestic violence, substance abuse, anger, marital conflict, depression and anxiety. It’s an honor to be chosen to be invited into someone’s life to help them get freed from whatever or whomever is keeping them from mentally and emotionally moving forward.
One last thing, just in case you are wondering, I describe EMDR as an emotional laxative. If you avoid talking about something because it puts you in a bad headspace or have physical reaction when you think about it, that is a sign that you could be emotionally backed up.
Thanks again for taking time to check out my page. I look forward to hearing from you!
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. –Proverbs 11:14
